FORGE Mobile Application — Private Beta

This document covers the FORGE mobile app only; the forgesimulation.com marketing website is addressed in a separate Website Privacy Policy.

2. SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the FORGE mobile application ("FORGE" or "the App"), currently distributed as a private, email-allowlist-gated beta. FORGE is intended solely for recreational airsoft and milsim use.

3. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

- Account information: name, email address, and password (via Firebase Authentication)
- Device and app data: device type, operating system version, and app version
- Real-time and historical GPS location data, collected during active gameplay sessions
- Gameplay and performance data: points, capture-point activity, session history, and after-action report (AAR) data
- Simulated hazard/scenario interaction data (e.g., CBRN module alerts, simulated Geiger-counter proximity events)
- Communications you send us, such as support or beta-access requests

4. PURPOSE FOR COLLECTING DATA

We collect and process this data in order to:

- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts and private beta access
- Provide real-time GPS tracking and tactical gameplay functionality during live events
- Operate geofenced capture points, scoring, and event administration tools
- Generate after-action reports and player performance statistics
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance and reliability
- Communicate with beta participants about app updates, events, and support
- Comply with applicable legal obligations, including under GDPR and CCPA

5. LOCATION DATA

FORGE collects precise GPS location only during active gameplay sessions that you knowingly join. FORGE does not collect location data in the background or when the app is closed. Location data collected during an event is used for real-time team tracking, capture-point geofencing, admin dashboards, and after-action reporting for that event.

6. HOW DATA IS STORED AND SHARED

Data is stored and processed using Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase Authentication, and Google Cloud infrastructure. We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with:

- Event administrators and team leaders, limited to data relevant to running the event you participate in
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud), under appropriate data processing terms
- Authorities, where required by law

7. DATA RETENTION

Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. Gameplay and location data tied to a specific event is retained to support after-action reporting. [Confirm specific retention periods before publishing.]

8. YOUR RIGHTS

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

FORGE is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. INTERNATIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
